This is our new 8MP (4K) Varifocal bullet camera, the NSC-268G-BTZF1. This new "G" model adds a couple of extra features to the non-G model, such as H.265 support and third-stream capabilities.

Vari-Focal Lens
Vari-Focal cameras allow the user to optically zoom. This allows the user to adjust the field of view to their liking while keeping this ultra HD 4K resolution. In contrast, fixed lens cameras only offer digital zoom, which causes pixelation and loss of video quality.
Mounting and Installing the NSC-268G-BTZF1
This Bullet is much more flexible than a Vandal Dome when it comes to mounting. Once you install the camera, you can rotate or pivot the camera by hand after loosening the retention screws.

The NSC-268G-BTZF1 is for the user who wants a camera with flexible mounting options, great ultra HD 4K resolution, and the ability to optically zoom in without losing video quality. This camera is a great choice for both commercial and residential installations, but really excels in commercial applications.
One thing to note is that the camera has a larger footprint than a typical fixed lens bullet or dome style camera, so if you are looking for an unobtrusive camera, this may not be a good choice. Also it is recommended to mount the camera in positions 8' or higher to take advantage of the different viewing angle choices and to keep it out of reach of vandalism.
