2GIG Wireless Hardwire Takeover Module

The 2GIG Wireless Hardwire Takeover Module allows installers to easily convert existing 12-volt hardwired alarm systems into 2GIG wireless technology. It takes over traditional wired zones and transmits them wirelessly to compatible 2GIG panels, helping modernize legacy systems without replacing sensors or re-running wire.

Each module converts up to 8 hardwired zones and supports common wired devices like motion sensors and glass break sensors. Designed for indoor use only, this module is not intended for fire or carbon monoxide zones. Flexible power options allow it to be powered by an existing alarm panel, including use of the panel’s backup battery.
